LIMITED WARRANTY FOR TEMPORARY SHELTERS AND COMPONENTS

Harnois Shelters guarantees this product and all components against any manufacture and/or material defect from the date of purchase for a period of one (1) year for the tarp and ten (10) years for the metal.

NOT NEGOTIABLE AND EFFECTIVE ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN RESPECTED

1. The shelter must have been installed in strict accordance with the procedures outlined by HARNOIS SHELTERS
2. Claimant must produce a copy of the sales contract or a proof of purchase, and a photo of the damaged section, within 30 days of the date of purchase or 48 hours of the initial installation.
3. Damages to the shelter must not result from improper care, negligence, lack of maintenance or improper installation. The product shall be repaired or replaced free of charge, according to the nature of the defect, at Harnois Shelters’ will.
4. Owner shall assume transportation costs of the shelter and/or accessories.
5. Harnois Shelters shall not be responsible for cartage, removal and/or reinstallation labour, or any other such costs incurred in obtaining warranty replacement.

THE ACTUAL WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

1. Damages caused by ice, ice movement, fire, animals, vegetation, vandalism, extreme climatic conditions or acts of God.
2. Collapses due to snow accumulation.
3. Damages caused by overexposure to direct sunlight.
4. Physical or material damage of any nature.
5. Discolouration and damages resulting from the normal life expectancy of the shelter and components.
6. Damages due to improper storage conditions. The tarp cover must be stored dry and without dirt (leaves).
7. Damages caused by improper installation.
8. Sections of the cover are sewn together (except for XR Series and Plus 16 shelters), so it is impossible to guarantee total waterproofing. Water infiltration is not considered a manufacturing defect.
9. Note: Tarps for temporary shelters are designed for winter conditions.
